TOMAS & HASSAD

The two main characters exist in various "doll" incarnations in my house. Some were commissioned; some took on the character in my mind when I acquired them. Links to their artists are found on the Links page.

Tomas (aka "Stark) by Red "Widow Bryant". Tomas is confined by chains representing his own inhibitions. "The egg-shaped form is made of Moroccan shale with a large Straight Shelled Nautiloid. This creature is extinct, having evolved into the modern circular Chambered Nautilus. So too do we evolve -- ever forward. The Moroccan egg in turn sits upon a slice of Selenite, which represents the expansion of self and one's surroundings. It also has been considered to aid in the flexibility of one's nature, and strength to one's decisions."

Hassad (aka "Skyloh") a full-sculpt, anatomically correct polymer male fairy by Red "Widow Bryant".

Lyn Raftis created Hassad and Tomas by repainting and rerooting two Matt dolls (by Robert Tonner). Find Lyn on my links page

Tomas, a 12" anatomically-correct full polymer sculpt which I commissioned from Tammy Krawietz. He has a book bag in his left hand which holds a tiny copy of "The Falcon Room".

A pair of 28" porcelain and cloth dolls of Tomas and Hassad made by Diane and Cindy of Cindee's Creations. Their clothing was made by me, the author of "The Falcon Room."
